So, they have been building bonfires all over town for the last week or so and I have no idea why, maybe the people of Avezzano are going on a witch hunt soon!!
Carmine is up for some kind of local elections, he asked to put posters in the letterboxes of my block of flats...he seems to be up against a million other people, everyday we get 3 or so more leaflets of business cards!
The rain has finally stopped and the sun is shining again! Yay! It's rained every day since I've been back:(
I went to the supermarket today and about half way round I realised I'd forgotten to go to the cash point and only had 10 euros so had to put half the stuff back, major fail! Ah well...
I have five days off from today and nothing to do! I don't know what I'm going to do with myself :(

The return...
Finally got internet, major annoyance, for two months you can pay 48 euros or you can buy a new three month contract for 39 euros, the system here makes no sense!!
We haven't really done much work since I got back, I planned an entire lesson on pubs for last thursday only for the teacher to go for coffee just before the lesson and turn up half an hour later! The Italians are just too laid back!
I'm trying to plan another trip to visit Lucy in Arezzo but I don't know if she's free that much in the next 6 weeks...
Anyway nothing interesting is happening here, Serena and Morena fell out because S put the washing machine on at 8 in the morning on sun so they're hardly talking now, she also got told off for forgetting to take out the rubbish and for leaving the bathroom 'sporchissimo' (extremely dirty!) over easter, it really wasn't even messy lol. At least now S understands what I've had to put with for the last 6 months!
The weather is abysmal it's been raining non stop since I got back and the mountains are hidden behind miles of black clouds :(
